The Ultimate TCI Insiders' Must-Try Restaurant List
Listen to the experts
We regularly have people ask us for recommendations for restaurants while travelling and the main piece of advice that we live by is 'follow the locals'.
Whether you're on Turks and Caicos or trekking through Cambodia, the local community and regular visitors always know the tastiest and most reasonably priced spots to eat so you can save yourself a lot of time (and bad meals) by taking their lead.
With this in mind, we gave a shout-out to our great Lovin TCI community and asked them to recommend their favourite spots to order food from.
Here are some of their recommendations...
"Shay Cafe for breakfast, Hemingway's for lunch, Lupo for dinner." - Linda
"Baci - best Italian and pizza to go!" - Nicole
"On last year's visit, we found a local spot with great food. Turks Kebab, best homemade hot sauce! Reasonable too." - Kristin
"Pelican Restaurant in Royal West Indies Resort. Ask for Berthony. You can have a great time eating at the bar and talking." - Bentley
"The French bakery next to Caicos Cafe - amazing breakfast sandwiches." - Patricia
"Mr. Grouper’s, Las Brisas, and Chinsons" - Jeanette
"Thai Orchid. We eat there at least twice every time we visit for a week." - Bob
"Coco Van and Kin Khao" - Allison
"Grouper Reuben from Sharkbite Bar and Grill with a pitcher of Turk's Head Brewery lager." - Jim
"Coco Van, Chinsons and Mango Reef." - Stephanie
"Sweet T's" - Allayah
"Somewhere Cafe and Lounge and Opus...it's a toss up, but two totally different types of food. Sorry, can't just pick one!" - Kandra
"We enjoyed Danny Buoy's and Pizza Pizza." - Susie
"Bay Bistro" - Brett
"LeBouchonCocoBistroSevenViaVenetoMagnoliaParallel23BayBistroGrace'sCottageLupoElCatadorDaConchShackLasBrisasCaicosCafePavilion. Does that count as ONE WORD? Ha,ha,ha" - Bob
