The Provo Premier League Returns Saturday the 13th of January
It's Football, not Soccer ;)
This season's line-up includes six teams having unfortunately lost Teachers and Small World but gained a second Academy team due to the immense amount of talent coming through the TCIFA youth football program.
If you're not familiar with the local teams, they are:
2017 champions, Beaches FC (coached by Johnny Suckrajh)
Academy Jaguars (the senior squad coached by Dane Ritchie)
Academy Eagle (a generally younger squad coached by Stephen McLaren)
Cheshire Hall FC (coached by Haroon Swaby)
Full Physic FC (coached by Marcdonald Fenelus and Yussuf Yakubu)
SWA Sharks FC (coached by Gary Brough)
Some changes have been forced on the teams by the currently inoperative floodlights, so going forward there will just one game a week at 4pm on a Saturday. However, a great bonus is that the Women’s Football League will be playing matches just before at 2pm, so you can still have a full Saturday afternoon of football action.
Fixtures as follows (hopefully the floodlights will be working in early 2018 which will mean we can go back to a three games a week schedule and shorten the season).
The first PPL fixture is the Champions, Beaches against the Turks Head Cup Winner’s Full Physic. Probably not a game for the faint hearted so it should be a good one!

Here's some footage for last year's cup final between the 2018 opening teams
A hard fought match by both sides
But Physic FC came out on top
