There's no doubt that Hurricane Irma has had a heartbreaking impact on the TCI but the spirit shown by people at home and abroad over the past few days has been nothing short of inspiring.

From Government intervention to communities banding together to help those worst affected, each day brings stories of people going the extra mile to get the islands back on track.

One such story is that of Marius Giese, who was part of a Cessna flight bringing supplies from Haiti to Provo yesterday.

Marius and Marc Pierre Louis brought tarps, rope, mosquito products, generators and roofing supplies after sourcing a pilot and supplies in Port Au Prince.
