This Golden Retriever Literally Saved His Owners Life By Taking On A Rattlesnake
What did we do to deserve dogs?
A man's (and woman's of course) best friend.
We all know that dogs are ridiculously loyal to human's and in all honesty, we don't deserve it.
However, Todd, a Golden Retreiver, proved just how remarkable he really was after he took on a RATTLESNAKE BITE to the face to save his owner Paula Goodwin.
Todd was strolling along with Paula and her other dog, Cooper, in Anthem, Arizona when they came upon a hidden rattlesnake.
Paula almost stood on the snake (imagine that), which was resting on the road, but the legend that is Todd threw himself in front of his owner, saving her from a painful bite.
But the poor lad, who isn't even one-years-old, was bitted right in the face, leaving his cute little face very swollen and sore.
The Golden Retriever was rushed to the vets, and he's thankfully making a speedy recovery.
"He for sure saved me from getting bit. He's definitely my hero." - says Paula, the dogs owner.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help other dogs and owners, who may need help with paying bills for anti venom for snake bites.
"Todd wants to help more puppies that may need help. Donations are not towards Todd's bill but for those in need of help in paying unexpected vet bills," explained Paula.
Not all heroes wear capes, but this little fella does.
