How To Turn 9 Days Of Annual Leave Into 18 Days Off
Get ready to book that pre-summer holiday to Turks & Caicos you’ve been dreaming about.
Are you fed up with this crazy system of having to slave away at our desk from 9-5 every day only to be given a measly handful of holiday leave a year. Well, we may have found a way to stretch it out so you can make the most of an extended vacation in Turks & Caicos.
2019 is already looking up already.
Thanks to some very well placed bank holidays in April 2019, we can now claim an 18-day holiday for the price of only 9 annual leave days.
I can see the frozen margarita in my hand right now!
I’ll explain to you how it will work.
Good Friday will fall on 19 April, Easter Monday on 22 April and the May Bank on May 6. This means you can take off everyday from the 18th of April to the 7th of May and thanks to the 6 weekend days in there, you will only need to claim 9 days annual leave.
Those dates being April 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 and May 1, 2, and 3.
That means you can have over 2 weeks of fun in the sun without eating into your annual leave at work.
I don’t know about you, but it's worth checking out Jet Blue and some of the local resorts to see what deals they have going on next year.
