23 Reasons To Venture Out Of Your Resort And See Blue Hills On Provo

Screen Shot 2017 10 29 At 10 54 51 Am

A little known story that before being named Providenciales, the island affectionately knowns as Provo was referred to as Blue Hills (other accounts have it called Blue Caicos).

The first settlement on the island took on the name Blue Hills, and although there aren't too many "hills" to speak of there is certainly no shortage of blue. The North Westerly shores is home to many Provo residents and some of the best local restaurants around.

The vibe is by no means Grace Bay, but it has it's own special vibe which has to be seen first hand to really understand.

Next time you're sitting by the pool of your resort wondering what the rest of the island has in store we suggest you call up Paradise Scooters, get yourself a Vespa and head down for a look yourself. Or book one of their tours and see the whole island in style.

These pics should give sufficient motivation to venture out and explore a bit during your visit.
